In a who's who of cycling stars in the '80s, the 1982 men's road race at the UCI Championships was stacked with powerhouses of all specialties, but it was always to be a day for the sprinters. Giuseppe Saronni's overwhelmingly powerful final kick beat out Greg Lemond and Sean Kelly over the final hill into the Goodwood circuit. Greg Lemond and Sean Kelly would have their share of wins over the next decade, but this was arguably the most spectacular win on the biggest stage.
Classic fit cycling jersey with raglan cut made of lightweight fabric on front and incredibly breathable fabric with sweat releasing grooves on the back. Featuring raw cut sleeves for a great fit and triple back pocket. Design inspired by the Official 1982 Goodwood UCI World Championships poster.
