Carbono Chamois
Designed by Etxe Ondo, Cytech, a Spanish cycling doctor and a Spanish Cycling engineer, this chamois is loaded with features:-
-A high quality elastic interface chamois constructed of different densities of indented memory foam that help distribute weight evenly in the saddle.
-Multi thicknesses of high density foam that is highly elastic so the chamois moves with the body thus reducing chafing and friction. Excellent shock absorbing properties.

Everything the site says is true - and more... Review by mtkoren
Like I said in the headline - it is all true. I never thought I would spend this much on bibs. I actually believed I would like to have leg warmers and combine them with my bib shorts and that would be the perfect way to layer and save money, right?

Well I got the Outwet leg warmers from this site and tried them on and was frustrated due to the tightness of the top grip and kept wondering so ordered larger ones. And for the ability to simply compare, also ordered this tight and one or two others - the Ibal and the Titan, both by E/O. I did it because Dohnn (Cento Cycling) said his wife loved the leg warmers but he would never wear them instead of tights. OK he had credibility because I liked his other advice.

I was planning to return all three and keep the larger sized Outwet leg warmers. What a surprise! Any of the three tights mentioned easily felt better than combining a leg warmer with a short bib. The difference in price from the lower cost Ibal was like going from a rather well made and terrific fabric tight to one in an entirely higher league. How do you explain what it means to go from exceptional to superb? It is all in the intangibles - the way it feels "anatomically" and so on. The way the lining feels - these are for warm weather after all. The way the chamois feels! I also liked the Titan but in the end this one won out. So I took it for a ride on a 40-degree day. Wow! ALso - I got a large - I have long legs - but not so long - I am medium 32.5" waist but for a 70.5" tall guy, I have nearly a 33" inseam. The large is the ticket for me and does well in length. Anyhow - glad I don't have leg warmers - they'd never get used.

Whatever Dohnn says - take it seriously! And E/O is the best bargain, if quality - I mean real quality - really matters! Michael K (Posted on 12/24/11)
